Procedure to become a LIC Agent
1. Application
An application form has to be given in order to apply with proper documents that are mentioned below. Our team can assist you with the application process by visiting your workplace or home.
2. Documentation
You need to carry photocopy of documents listed below while applying to become an LIC agent.
- 4 Color Photos
- Age Proof
- School Leaving Certificate
- S.S.C Marksheet
- H.S.C. Marksheet
- Graduation Marksheet
- Pan Card
- Address Proof
- Cancelled Cheque
Fee structure for examination:
Registration Fees Rs. 150
Online training Fees Rs. 150
Online exam Fees Rs. 500
Total Fees Rs. 800
3. Preparation
- You need to undergo a training of 25 hours in order to prepare for the examination.
- Training can be held online or offline as per your convenience.
- We will also provide study material for the examination
- You will receive a certificate from LIC on completion of the training
4. Examination
You need to give an online examination conducted by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority IIRDA after the
successful completion of training.
You need to secure required passing marks in order to clear the exam, Passing Marks – 17/50.
5. License
Once you clear the exam, you will get an Appointment Letter by the IRDA to work as an insurance agent.
